Town Foot Farm was completely renovated in 2022. It has a large kitchen and open plan sitting/dining room. There is also a laundry/utility room and a downstairs toilet Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, 2 doubles (one with an en suite shower room), a twin room and a small room with a child’s (2ft 6in) bed. There is a family bathroom with separate shower/bath. Outside there is parking for 3 cars, an EV charger and a small enclosed seating/patio area to the rear The space Town Foot Farm is a beautiful detached former Farmhouse located in the heart of the delightful small village of Hayton with Brampton and Carlisle close by. Town Foot farm was completely renovated in 2022 and provides a welcoming and comfortable holiday property perfect for family or friends to enjoy. The hub of the house is most definitely the elegant and stylish large sitting/dining room with comfortable sofas and ornate furnishings including the large dining table. It is the perfect room for either sitting and relaxing or enjoying a meal around the table. The kitchen with all mod cons has a breakfast table where you can sit in the morning or indeed fling open the patio doors and enjoy your morning coffee in the enclosed and private courtyard. South facing the courtyard catches the sun all day long so just perfect to start your day. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, one en-suite and one is a perfect little room for a child. With its enclosed rear courtyard Town Foot Farmhouse welcomes dogs. Hayton is a quiet little village with a popular village Pub which serves food at the weekends and the village is surrounded by the rolling Cumbrian countryside. Three miles away is the market town of Brampton where you will find a variety of quaint little shops and some excellent pubs and restaurants. Hayton is ideally placed to enjoy the many attractions close by, none more so than the iconic Hadrian’s Wall where you can walk stretches of this World Heritage Site. A visit to Talkin Tarn Country Park is a great day out for all the family with its 65-acre lake set amid 120 acres of farmland and woodland, the ideal place to enjoy a walk or even try your hand at some boating on the lake. A mere half hour drive you can explore the delights of the Lake District National Park or cross the border for a scenic drive into Scotland. Guest access Access is via a lockbox.
