Ideal for couples or families, this cosy Yorkshire stone cottage sleeps up to four guests. The peaceful village of Beamsley, is an ideal base for exploring the ever inviting Yorkshire Dales villages, and the many sights that await your visit, including Skipton Castle, RHS garden Harlow Carr, and Bolton Abbey Estate, home to The Devonshire Arms. Boasting countryside views to the front, scenic walks from the doorstep, and an enclosed garden, this dog friendly hideaway offers a traditional, comfortable stay in a cottage full of Yorkshire charm. The kitchen provides everything you need to enjoy your holiday, with stunning views to accompany your morning coffee, or better still have breakfast from the dining table in the sitting room looking out onto the garden. On chiller evenings, light the wood burning stove and nestle in with a good book or film. Upstairs, the spacious master bedroom hosts a double bed with plenty of storage space, whilst the second bedroom offers bunk beds - perfect for the family, and fun for the children. Step outside through the front door via the sitting room to enjoy the gorgeous cottage garden. Filled with herbs and flowerbeds throughout summer, there is seating to relax as the sun go down, or immerse yourself in birdsong from rear patio just outside the kitchen. Acorn Cottage truly is the perfect spot for a quiet Yorkshire Dales retreat to recharge. Throughout the year Yorkshire hosts many attractions to see and visit. Acorn Cottage is well placed for attending the Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate, Grassington Christmas Market, or for taking a trip on a long boat in the height of summer on the Skipton Canal. Haworth, home to The Bronte Parsonage Museum, is only a 15 mile drive away, . Additional Information: Two well-behaved dogs welcome, small additional charge. An initial supply of logs will be at the property to get you started. Children and Infants welcome, however no equipment is provided. Chickens roam free in the woodland to the rear of the cottage. Guest access Ground Floor: Entrance porch leading to Kitchen With an electric range oven and electric hob, washer/dryer, microwave, fridge/freezer, table and one chair to admire the view. Sitting room/dining room With a wood burning stove, television, DVD player, sofa, one armchair and dining table seating four guests over looking the garden. First Floor: Bedroom one With a 4'6 double bed, large wardrobe, drawers and countryside views. Bedroom two With 3' single bunk bed, chest of drawers and countryside views. Family bathroom With a bath and hand-held shower overhead, wash basin and WC. Outside: Paved seating area to the rear of the cottage and enclosed garden to the front with patio and further seating overlooking the views. Private parking to the rear of the cottage.
