Stunning 20-acre property on Damariscotta Lake is newly constructed with 3 bedrooms/6 beds. A private path brings you to your own shorefront access with seating, a solo stove, firewood (supplied by owner) and dock that is good for boats up ~ 18'. Kayaks are available too. Behind the rental unit is a private pond stocked with trout surrounded by open lawn areas for outdoor games. The guest quarters are 1 row back from the lake. The property's 100' of shoreline is split between owners & guests. The space After clearing trees off about 4 acres of the property we built this post and beam 'barn'. The garage downstairs is used by the owners and is not part of the rental. The first floor and upstairs loft is entirely private and what is being listed for rent. This property has many amenities including heat pumps to keep the temperature just the way you like it, a large jacuzzi in the bathroom, laundry, a dishwasher, 2 Roku TV's, new furniture, new mattresses throughout and more. I believe this rental unit is much nicer than our own house and I was told by a tenant it is the nicest place they have ever stayed in. You have private access to the unit from the outside stairs on the east side and from a side door on the north side (near path to lake). There is plenty of space for parking behind the unit and out back by the pond if necessary. The owner's house sits between this rental unit and the lake. Because the rental unit is quite tall you have spectacular lake and sunset views. A short walk of about 160 feet brings you to your private dock and space to enjoy the lake. If you have a boat that is too large for the dock, there is a mooring ball that can be used. Behind the rental unit is large lawn area tucked in the woods surrounding our trout pond. This is a great spot for football, wiffleball, bocce ball and fishing (catch and release and use barbless hooks please). Our lake neighborhood is an incredible community! Everyone is friendly, respectful and always willing to help one another. I encourage people that value those traits to consider renting here in our own slice of paradise; it is amazing! Guest access In addition to the rental space, parking space, private lake shore area, guests may use our private road, and lawn area surrounding the pond out back. Guests do not have access to the owner's garage, house and owner's portion of the shorefront, unless given permission.
