Spacious rooms and high right foot, surrounded by native flora, huge diversity of birds, frogs and eventual visit of other wild animals, such as the famous moccos (or preas), calanguinhos, iguanas and even armadillos. The house has a ceiling lining and mosquito on the windows. Guest access Sala, kitchen, laundry and balconies are areas shared with me and my husband, an archaeology student at UNIVASF. During your stay We spend most of the day working and studying. We are quiet and reserved, but we like to share tips of what we have learned about the region, if you are interested. Including, we are open to share the daily rate of the guide, in the event that routes coincide that we have not yet made or have the desire to re-visit. 😊 We are enchanted by the biodiversity and phases of the Caatinga. In the environs of the house there are several nice hiking paths, which we appreciate when we take Nina (our dog) to stroll every morning and/or afternoons. Other things to note Excellent location for those who want to visit the National Park due to the quick access to all the guardhouses of PARNA Serra da Capivara, being here one of the best points of São Raimundo to reach the main guardhouse of BPF, Sítio do Mocó and visit the Museum of Nature or the ceramic factory. Although we are outside the urban part, access to the center and all amenities is super fast and it takes no more than 10min to reach the center or 15 minutes to the farthest locations. We receive ready-made food deliveries as normal. For those who do not have their own transportation and want to access the Federal or State Universities, FUMDHAM, the Federal Institute or other locations in São Raimundo Nonato, the services of mototaxi, taxi or app work perfectly at normal table values in the urban area. A motorcycle ride from home, for example, costs on average R$ 10.00 to anywhere in the center and vice versa or R$ 25.00 from popmov (local Uber). For tours in the park, transportation values are higher, but we can share the options available in the city if you are interested.
