Relax on this peaceful all sports lake in southern MI. The lake has abundant fishing opportunities with numerous pan-fish and pike. Just a few minutes to Sturgis Mi, for shopping and many restaurants. The Mexican restaurants in the area are some of the best. Just a little over 2 hrs to Detroit and 2.5 hrs to Chicago, only 40 minutes to Shipshewana In, the heart of Amish county. Close to some great biking trails. There are 4 kayaks for your use during your stay 3 singles & 1 double. The space One of our favorite things about Joseph's cottage is the second story 3 seasons room, it provides a sweeping view of the lake. It does have dual exits on each side, one to a small deck to the north and one to the south to stairs leading down to ground level. Water shoes are suggested. Guest access Guest will have access to the entire house (please note the stairs leading to the basement are narrow with the handrail located on the inner wall, see pictures for description). The house has two main entry doors, rear deck and lakeside, both doors have key-less entry locks. The code will be sent with-in 24 hours of your arrival time. Other things to note For the comfort of all, smoking is restricted to designated outdoor areas, the parking area or out on the dock. Please do not dispose of smoking materials in the lake. Sorry we have a no pet policy ($250 fine), unauthorized overnight guests ($100 per person per night fine). Please note, check out is strictly at 11 am, any unapproved late checkout (7 days notice) will result in a $50.00 cleaning fee.
