Description
For a unique glamping experience: a large bell tent set up within a secluded area in the bush overlooking a picturesque spring-fed dam. The 5m bell tent is appointed with a full size queen bed with warm bedding and comfortable chairs. Outdoor bathroom with hot shower & modern composting toilet. The dam has water year round, and is a nice spot to cool down on a warm day. You can sit by the campfire and enjoy bird watching or watch the sunset over the trees. Completely private and peaceful. The space This is a 175 acre property 10km north of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 45 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest, with an assortment of shops and cafes as well as supermarket. The glamping tent is set up in a private and secluded area, well away from the main house. Just yourself and nature. This is an unpowered site. There is a barbecue with hot plate and a sink for washing up. Cooking equipment provided. Just bring your food and esky with ice. There are plenty of areas to go bushwalking on the property, and there is a beautiful view over the escarpment that can be seen at the front gate. Other things to note A supply of firewood and kindling is provided (approx 1 day's worth), along with matches etc. Further firewood can be purchased for $15/bag. You may also want to bring a portable charger for phones. There is good phone reception. Pets welcome, but not inside the tent please. 2wd accessible but it is rough in places - gravel and grass. 4wd required after very wet weather.
