Studio Karlberg

Located in a large and venerable villa on Tørberget in Trysil, surrounded by forests and lush green areas, you can keep undisturbed at all times of the day. Bring your favorite people, eat, work and relax with each other in beautiful surroundings. There is enough room here to both live and work. With a fully rigged control room and essential studio tools, we can guarantee good living and working conditions for your next project. The space The property is located on a hill 100 meters from the nearest road. The house has a large courtyard with many parking options. Large natural plot with the forest close by. Lawn with surrounding berry bushes, gazebo and cozy seating areas. The first floor of the house offers good and social common areas, as well as a furnished music studio. The sleeping area is on the second floor, separate and quiet. The rooms are large, the ceiling height is generous and the decor is in style with the house's rustic romantic character from the 1900s. Guest access Guests will be able to use the entire house. Other things to note Tørberget is located in Vestre Trysil, about 20 minutes drive to Trysilfjellet: In the winter season, downhill slopes, cross-country trails, dog sledding and horse and sleigh rides. In the summer season hiking trails, golf course, bike trails, climbing park, rafting, swimming and fishing. Great ski slopes near the house (750 m). Fishing and swimming opportunities (2 km). 6-hole golf course (1 km) On the property, 30 meters behind the house is "Italia", a small red cabin. We also rent this out. Please note that towels and bed sheets are not included. We can provide towels and bed linen for you, but it will cost NOK 150 per person for the entire stay. If applicable, please let us know as soon as possible. When booking Studio Karlberg, key access is given to the music studio located on the 1st floor. The other rooms of the house can be used as recording rooms. It is allowed to move furniture and objects during the stay so that the house works best for the production. The studio has a range of equipment that covers basic needs. This equipment is included in the stay. Equipment needs beyond this are brought by the guests themselves. It is possible to rent extra equipment from the host. A wide range of microphones, outboards, amps, instruments are in stock in Oslo. Equipment list and prices for this are sent upon request.
