The Red House / Dom Czerwony

Situated on the edge of Natura 2000 park, this country cottage was once the blacksmith's home in the vast Kuflew estate see dwor-kuflew . com. It sits high above a pond that is host to kingfishers, frogs and beavers. In the vicinity are the ruins of the stables and manor house as well as a public park with ancient monument to St Anthony. There is fishing available on nearby ponds. The area is rich in bird and insect life. This is a wild secluded oasis for those tired of the city noise. The space The Red House was completely restored between 2016 and 2019. It has a traditional ceramic stove which heats up the house. But you will have to keep it going with wood stacked outside. Electric heaters provide additional heating through the night. The bathroom tables are hewed from an Acacia tree that had fallen nearby. There is no TV, but plenty of books and games. We have Wifi connection via 4G antenna. Water comes from the house well filtered with carbon and iron filters.#domekczerwony Guest access There is about 13ha of grounds, much of it wild. Feel free to wonder around the dworek (manor house). There is a garden and lawn with the house itself. Other things to note Coronavirus: This house is isolated and self contained. Only family or groups self isolating together please. House is vacated 24 hours before new arrivals. If you feel unwell, please do not come but contact us as soon as possible.
