This stylish studio space has been featured on HGTV and is located in Sherman Oaks, very close to Studio City. It's situated in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, and many of our guests have enjoyed the easy access our home offers to numerous Los Angeles destinations. Of course, if you're just looking to relax...then sitting by the pool is the place to do it, where you can read or write or just take a dip. This private guest studio receives natural light and includes a living/sleep area with a double bed (comfortable for two people) radio/alarm clock, desk table/chair combo plus another comfortable chair. There’s a fan and a standing heater as well for either extra needs. The kitchen is equipped with just about everything you'll need, from a microwave, Keurig coffee maker (we get you started with a few coffees & sugars), toaster/convection oven, two-burner hot plate, tea kettle, small fridge, multiple dishes/glasses, etc. The guest studio also has a full bathroom with a standing shower, double sinks, and amenities like a hairdryer, shampoo and conditioner and towels for both bathroom and pool use. There is no TV, but there is of course, Wi-Fi. The home is within walking distance of many terrific restaurants (or have food delivered), shops, bars, nail salons, massage, yoga and Pilates studios, dessert destinations, and we're a short drive to Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Erewhon and Ralph's supermarkets, the Regal Cinemas , Fryman Canyon or Dixie Canyon for a hike, miniature golf, bowling at PinZ, shopping at Westfield Mall and many other nearby boutiques... there's a multitude of other attractions that make LA exciting. Centrally located, near all major studios, including Universal Studios theme park and just minutes over the hill from the Sunset Strip, West Hollywood, and Beverly Hills. We leave guests an easy to read notebook with our top picks of where to go for food and activities in the neighborhood. NO CHILDREN under 13 years old. NO pets. The studio guest house is located within our property up our hill driveway and four steps. The guest suite studio is on the lower level of the residence across from the pool with a private, separate entrance. You'll come up a hill driveway and four steps to enter. Well-lit path and sensor flood light to guide you at night. There is no access to the main house. Guest has access to the pool with many places to sit, read, and relax. The pool is heated on weekends from later May thru September when weather permits. We do not offer the hot tub to guests. Parking is on the street in front of the home. There are no parking restrictions in front of our home or our neighbors' homes on either side of our house. We ask that noise is kept to a minimum between the hours of 10:00pm-8:00am. ;-) We love our neighborhood! It's an upscale, quiet, friendly neighborhood. Every day you'll find neighbors out for a stroll, walking their dogs or riding bikes. We are close to many popular restaurants and bars to bakeries and boutiques to salons and markets. We enjoy taking walks along the tree lined streets and seeing the diverse architecture and home designs. A walk up some of the hilly streets behind us to get the grand view of the mountains in the distance is our favorite. We have a list in the studio of many of the restaurants and markets in the neighborhood so it's easy to find just what you're looking for. There is also a Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, a movie theater and the biggest, newest Ralph’s Supermarket and Erewhon conveniently close by. Street parking is available in front of our house with no restrictions and we're centrally located so getting around town is easy whether you take one of the highways or canyon roads. The studio guest house is located within our property up a hill driveway. and four steps to the door. We are located just minutes from the 101 and 405 freeways. We're close to Universal Studios and it's a quick, easy drive over the hill to Beverly Hills or West Hollywood. If you don't rent a car we recommend using Uber or Lyft for rides around town. THERE IS NO TV, but of course, there's wifi. We only heat the pool on the weekends between late May thru September when the weather is permitting. There is no supervision of the pool or, as we say, no lifeguard on duty. We do not offer the hot tub to guests. No parties or gatherings of additional people are allowed. You are allowed to have a guest or two visit, but no more than two booked guests for overnight stays. Please just give us a heads up. FOR LONGER STAYS - FOR EVERY TIME A GUEST STAYS 28 DAYS OR LONGER, THE STUDIO MUST BE CLEANED HALFWAY THROUGH EACH MONTHLY VISIT FOR $80. TOWELS AND SHEETS THAT HAVE BEEN PROVIDED ARE WASHED AT THAT TIME. We are not responsible for the injury of guests or visitors. NO CHILDREN UNDER 13 YEARS OLD. NO PETS.
