However, due to several unfortunate incidents involving vandalism and rule violations, we have decided to introduce the following policy: 💰 Security & Cleanliness Deposit: RM200 (Fully Refundable) Unlike most other homestays in Arte Cheras, we do not charge a non-refundable cleaning fee. Instead, we reward guests who maintain cleanliness and respect the house rules — allowing you to save more during your stay at StarSuiteAC. 🔧 *Deposit Deductions for Violations* Please note: *RM50* will be deducted from your deposit, for each of the following violations (marked with ✳): 📌 Harmony Rules : - If we receive neighbour complaints about repeated shoutings/screaming (with video evidence)✳ 📌 Damage Rules : - If any item is damaged (vandalised) or missing: the repair/replacement cost will be deducted from the deposit, or borne by the guest (Note: Normal wear-and-tear is acceptable) 📌 Cleanliness Rules : - If cigarette butts/ashes/smell are found in the unit✳ (Vaping is allowed) - If furniture/mattresses/blankets are moved and not returned to their original positions✳ - If dishes are left unwashed (in sink or scattered around)✳ - If the floor is dirty and not swept✳ (Note: a little dust is fine) - If rubbish (wet or dry) is not placed in the provided garbage bags and not gathered at the foyer entrance (next to the shoe rack)✳ 📌 Checkout Rules : - Checkout time is 12:00 noon - If late, RM50 will be deducted (for every 30 minutes) ✳ --- ✅ Full Refund Guarantee If there are no violations (and all House Rules are followed), your full RM200 deposit will be refunded within 6–12 hours after check-out. ========== 🎁 *Incentive Offer (RM30 Bonus!)* We truly appreciate guests who leave the unit clean and in good condition.
