The lighthouse (1878) is alone on the Gunnarsholmen island in Lake Vänern. You are in the middle of the nature reserve Lurö Archipelago. The largest inland archipelago in Europe. 15 minutes away with boat (yours) you find the Ekenäs Harbor. In 30 minutes drive you are in Säffle. 2 new kayaks to use. The nature/wildlife is unique. The space The guest use the whole lighthouse and sauna. Completely renovated lighthouse from 1878. The lighthouse is very cozy and romantic. High standard in excellent nature. The first floor contains kitchen and combined bedroom/living room (all open space). Second floor large king bed and beds for eventual children. Stair to tower with possibility to sit outside and enjoy amazing view. Electricity from Solar Panels, Toilet: High Tech Gas burner. Guest access The whole island and all houses. Other things to note Just 15 minutes drive with the boat further out is the famous Lurö island worthwhile for a day trip. On the other side of Vänern is the Läckö castle and the Spiken fishing harbor. Trips can be arranged.
