My name is Shaker and I would be happy to welcome you to our camp. My family has been in Wadi Rum for many generations and I am born and raised in the surrounding desert. As a guest in our camp you will have the opportunity to learn from our vast knowledge of the land and you will be exposed to the Bedouin culture and our daily lives. Every night we prepare food traditional to the region and cook in an underground oven (Zarb), shared together with other guests in the traditional nomad style. The space Our camp is a truly authentic Bedouin experience. You have the privacy and comfort of a private tent as well as all amenities you are acustomed to at home combined with the opportunity to share in our culture and daily lives. Guest access The camp has all facilities including western toilet and shower and comfortable tents with linen and blankets provided. You can enjoy any activities from our camp as a base during the day and watch the impressive view of the stars by night. Other things to note Our picturesque setting is quite isolated which is part of the appeal of our offering. As such we prepare and can offer all meals at a reasonable price. Breakfast is included in the listed price and all other meals can be arranged on arrival. Additionally we can arrange any transport requirements for any visitors who do not have their own 4x4 vehicle. Traditional Zarb Dinner shared with hosts and all guests each evening is an additional JOD10. Transport from Wadi Rum Rest House is complimentary for all guests who stay with us and join a tour.
