Stylish design loft in the heart of Basel! At the Urban Design Loft you’ll find bright rooms with large floor-to-ceiling windows, handcrafted designer furniture and plenty of thoughtful details. Two bedrooms with comfortable double beds, a premium sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen ensure a relaxed stay. A special highlight: your free parking space in the underground garage, with direct lift access to the apartment. Arrive stress-free and feel right at home. The space The Urban Design Loft is located in Basel’s popular St. Johann district, just a few minutes from the Old Town, the main train station (SBB) and the airport. The apartment is on the third floor of a modern building and offers plenty of space and peace. Large floor-to-ceiling windows fill the rooms with natural light throughout the day, while excellent insulation ensures a pleasant temperature and restful nights. From the balcony you can enjoy views over the neighborhood. A lovely spot for breakfast in the fresh air or a glass of wine in the evening. Inside, a thoughtful layout awaits you. Two separate bedrooms with a cozy king-size and queen-size bed provide plenty of privacy, complemented by a high-quality sofa bed for additional guests. If you prefer sleeping in a bed rather than on the sofa bed, we will be happy to provide up to two extra beds upon request. Of course, we have also thought of our youngest guests. A baby cot is available free of charge on request. The kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for cooking together, featuring an induction stove, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, several coffee machines and a milk frother. A washing machine and a dryer make longer stays easy and convenient, so you can truly feel at home. For entertainment you’ll find a Smart TV, a PlayStation and a music box, while towels and bathrobes are included. With the BaselCard you can use all public transport free of charge and enjoy many discounts across the city. Right in the building you’ll find a supermarket, a hairdresser and a laundry service, while a few restaurants, cafés and a bar are located on the square outside. The Rhine and St. Johanns Park are just a short walk away, and the nearby St. Johann railway station takes you to France within minutes. Perfect for a relaxed visit to the Sunday market in Saint-Louis. Just two minutes from the apartment you’ll find “Dampfbad Basel”, a relaxing wellness oasis. Perfect for switching off and unwinding. If you’re in the mood for something more active, the well-known ELYS Boulderloft climbing gym is only an eight-minute walk away, offering a fun experience for both children and adults. Guest access You have full access to the entire space. Of course, the apartment is for your exclusive use. Other things to note For the duration of your stay, you and your companion will receive the BaselCard. It includes free use of public transport, access to city-wide Wi-Fi hotspots, and 25% discounts on museum entries, the zoo, Theater Basel, boat cruises, city and sightseeing tours. Public transport within Basel including from the airport or train stations to the apartment is already free with your Airbnb booking confirmation. If you are traveling with an electric car, there are several charging stations located nearby.
