A traditional stone-built Cretan home, newly refurbished throughout with some modern features. Situated in a traditional, quiet village just 10 minutes away by car from Rethymno city. There is a mini-market, free car parking, pharmacy, three restaurants (local tavernas), citizens advice centre, two bakeries, basketball court, football pitch (5x5), kids playground within 200 metres. There is a church nearby built in 1816 and another one built in the Byzantine times (12th century AD) 500 metres away. The village is surrounded by olive trees and is situated 5 minutes away by car (1200 metres) from the sea where one can find beach bars and night bars, restaurants and a variety of shops. There are many mountain peaks for those keen on climbing and many gorges to explore for those keen on trekking. The property comprises of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in total over two floors. In addition, there is a modern kitchen in the ground floor along with a round staircase leading onto the second floor where there is a small living room and doors leading to the balcony.
