Lovely location, simple charming cottage.

The cabin has a fantastic location by one of Øvre Eiker's most popular bathing waters. Here the water is clean and the idyll and coziness are really present. The cabin was renovated in 2019, and appears as in the pictures, fresh and nice, but at the same time retained the charming character. There is no power or running water, but a gas stove and gas refrigerator provide some comfort anyway. Candles and flashlights in the evening are just charming. 400 m to walk from the parking lot. Most of all, it is nice to be together and enjoy the quiet atmosphere such a place offers. But it is also possible to row, paddle, sup, fish or go hiking. When was the last time you took the time to just sit down and enjoy the silence? Here there is no engine noise from boat traffic, the road is far away, and the birds are the ones who set the sound for breakfast. Enjoy life, in the quiet and cozy place we offer you. Great place for adults, and great place for kids. Here they can learn a lot of new things, which is what summer is for. There is also a great hiking terrain right outside the gate, for those who want to go hiking. If you are very fit, we can recommend a trip up to Holtefjell, with peaks of around 700 meters, and views of Eikerbygda and down towards Drammen. Guest access The entire cabin with all amenities is in the hands of our guests. We are mostly available if there should be anything. Other things to note It may be that during the stay I have to come and change the gas bottle, but try to have enough gas for the entire stay so this change does not cause any disturbance in your vacation. Unfortunately, there is poor telephone connection in the area. There is also no WiFi in the cabin.
