Ervhouse Bed and Breakfast (private bathroom)

Ervhouse is a Grade C listed farmhouse situated near the edge Weisdale Voe. It has enjoyed a busy life since it was built as the factor's house for Kergord House in 1856. The west wing which faces the sea was added in the 1880s when it became a halfway house where horses were changed travelling to the westside of Shetland. The ground floor rooms were used as a waiting room, where passengers could sit by the fire or they could rent the rooms upstairs. The space We have 2 rooms facing the sea, one ensuite and one with private bathroom. There is a large guest lounge with a cosy stove - just the place to relax after a long day sightseeing or work. You can always be sure of a warm and friendly welcome and good food in tranquil surroundings whenever you visit Ervhouse. During your stay We will always help with planning your explorations in Shetland and as the house is in central mainland, trips to Unst and Yell and as far as Sumburgh can easily be done in a day. Full breakfast is included and evening meals can also be provided on request.
