This family-friendly retreat sleeps up to six guests with two bedrooms furnished with king beds and two recessed hallway bunks that kids will love. Inside, you’ll find a newly remodeled kitchen with granite countertops and all the essentials for home-cooked meals, plus a cozy living area perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. Free WiFi keeps you connected, if you must! Step out your back patio and you’re just six steps from a seasonally heated pool and hot tub. A second pool, more hot tubs, and shared charcoal grills are also available for your use. When you’re ready for the beach, it’s less than 50 yards away—three deeded beach accesses make getting your toes in the sand quick and easy. Beach chair and umbrella rentals are available, or stroll over to YOLO Board & Bike and other Gulf Place vendors for all your recreational needs. Beyond the beach, Gulf Place Town Center is right at your doorstep, offering art galleries, boutique shops, a spa, salon, pharmacy, and even a pilates studio. Grab a bite at Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar with fresh seafood and live music, or head to Goatfeathers Seafood Market just down the road for the day’s catch. Seasonal events like Sunday concerts in the park, the Third Thursday Wine Walkabout, and even beachside church services add to the vibrant community feel. For recreation, you’ll find shuffleboard, croquet, tennis courts, biking and walking trails onsite. Step out onto the 17-mile Timpoochee Trail to explore Seaside, WaterColor, and other colorful beach towns nearby. If you want a little more action, Destin’s restaurants and shopping are just a 10-minute drive away—though you’ll love coming back to the peaceful, laid-back charm of Gulf Place.
