Welcome to this comfortable wooden cottage that has been carefully decorated. It is located against the beautiful Hatertse and Overasseltse vennen and has the city of Nijmegen nearby. In good weather, you can enjoy everything that grows and flowers in the garden or the surrounding area. In a colder season, there is an atmospheric wood-burning stove including a lazy rocking chair to seek peace and quiet. It has all the facilities you need for a relaxing stay for 2-4 people (including air conditioning, dishwasher). The space The cottage has French doors to the garden at the back. Here is a seat and a picnic table. There is a garden stove and fire bowl to make a cozy fire here. A hammock is also available. The house is on private property and is accessible through a private entrance through the garden. The cottage is placed and arranged in such a way that it has privacy. The cottage is heated with electric radiators, air conditioning and wood stove (wood available). There are 2 bedrooms, one is on the ground floor with a double bed. The other is on the loft, here are 2 single beds. This space is in open connection with the living room. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. Full set of dishes, mixer, sandwich maker, etc. Kitchen textiles are available. The stove is gas operated (gas cylinder). There is no microwave and no freezer. Separating waste is desirable. The bathroom has an electric radiator, heated mirror and a lovely spacious walk-in shower (150-liter electric boiler). Bathroom textiles are provided. Guest access Through the back of the garden, there is a private entrance to the cottage. The entire cottage and the enclosed garden are at the disposal of the guests. Other things to note The Heidehuisje is located on its own residential property. There is plenty of parking space for multiple vehicles. Through the back part of the garden, the cottage can be reached on foot with its own entrance. You will then pass the pigs, chickens and goats that live here, and with a little luck, the cat Sammie will come to greet you. The cottage has its own enclosed garden, with its own seating/picnic bench, etc. Through an unpaved road you can walk into the pond area. The cottage is not suitable for stays with small children.
