Patio São Vicente is a collection of restored artisan cottages surrounding a peaceful courtyard, hidden away in the historical center of the city. The cottages of “Patio São Vicente” have been completely restored respecting the original architecture yet designed with a modern aesthetic by Paratelier architects. Using Portuguese artisans and designers, the interiors are cosy, comfortable and carefully crafted with custom carpentry. The 13th century original wall of Lisbon the “Muralha Fernandina” is integrated into the back wall of each of the living rooms. Patio São Vicente is tucked away in the corner of the Telheiro do Sao Vicente square in a private Patio. The cottages of “Patio São Vicente” have been completely restored respecting the original architecture yet designed with a modern aesthetic by Paratelier architects. The 13th century original wall of Lisbon the “Muralha Fernandina” is integrated into the back wall of each of the living rooms. The corner turret is visible from the courtyard and can be accessed by the garden of one the apartments. You can sit in the quiet, shady patio at your own table, the perfect work or rest space after a long day’s sightseeing. The patio is a natural space for groups, friends or extended families to gather and enjoy time together, while still having the privacy of their own houses. “Casinha A" is divided over 2 floors, the ground floor with a full open kitchen, dining area, wood panelled living room with large sofa-bed and a spacious light filled bathroom with a large cement bath-tub. The upstairs bedroom is a peaceful space perfect for a good night sleep, sheltered with the “muralha” and completed with custom storage. Positioned in front of the majestic tenth century Mosteiro do Sao Vicente de Fora, next to the pantheon, Alfama and the infamous “Feira da Ladra” the twice weekly fair of the thieves makes São Vicente one of the most vibrant and busy meeting places in Lisbon. A 5 minute walk to Graca will also bring you to the two miradouros where you can have the best view of whole of Lisbon. The 28 tram is steps away. This historical neighborhood of Lisbon is well suited for exploring by foot. Like most old parts of historical cities, access to the patio can be difficult for those with mobility issues. To get to the "secret" patio you need to walk up a steep ramp but the view of the church and river is worth it! The space “Casinha 10A" is divided over 2 floors with air conditioning, access to a washing machine & fast Wi-Fi. The ground floor has a full open kitchen with a dishwasher, dining area, and a wood panelled living room with 2 large sofas (one of them being a queen sized sofa bed) and TV. The spacious light filled bathroom feels spa-like with an oversized bath-tub. The upstairs bedroom is a peaceful space perfect for a good night’s sleep with a king sized bed and comfortable built-in work desk area.
