This unique, bespoke lodge has a style all of its own with THE most amazing views over the Welsh Clwydian Range. Moorfield Lodge is a self contained space with a fully equipped kitchen and separate bathroom with a modern rain shower. The 6 seater hot tub is the best place to enjoy the views and the sunsets with a lovely glass of something fizzy. Located close to the historic city of Chester (max. 15 minute drive) within the beautiful County of Cheshire. Fantastic views towards Moel Famau and the foothills of the Clwydian Range. The wrap around decking area includes outdoor furniture for breakfast and a fabulous hot tub with lovely views into Wales. There are shaded, cushioned benches where you can escape the heat of the day. Tea and coffee making facilities are included, Chicken TV is free on demand and Jess, the free range dog, may also make the occasional visit. Bedroom : King sized bed (linen included}; bedside shelves with sockets + USB charging points; heater; coffee table with plush 'shell' chairs; shelf and mirror; Bi-fold doors with remote controlled day/night blinds. Bathroom : Walk-in electric rain-shower; wall hung toilet & cabinet; radiator; hairdryer; bath and hand towels; hand wash + hand lotion. Kitchen : Crockery & cutlery; standard kitchen utensils; fridge + ice box; saucepans; kettle; 2 ring induction hob; microwave; air fryer; toaster; washing up sundries; rubbish bags; glassware + plastic glasses for the hot tub. Outside : We've tried to make your stay as private as possible. Decking to 2 sides with a privacy screen and outdoor seating for your morning coffee. 6 seater hot tub; complimentary slippers; wine/beer fridge; outdoor lighting; fire pit. Smoking is allowed outside - ashtrays provided. Charcoal BBQ available on request. The Lodge is located quite close to the A483 but we have insulated the walls as much as possible to mitigate any noise. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. Guest access You have access to the whole garden but we won't be offended if you keep yourselves to yourselves. We do need to potter about in the garden - tending to chickens and weeding the veg beds but we promise not to invade your space. Other things to note Local pubs serving food : Red Lion, Dodleston; Golden Lion, Rossett; The Grosvenor in Pulford for a more up-market experience. Dodleston village shop/Post office (1 mile) sells a full range of food and drink. The nearest Co Op is in Westminster Park (3 miles). Asda & Tesco approx. 15 min drive. Bookings of 2 nights or more will include both the Spa and Firewood packages.
