You will be provided with complimentary milk sachets, butter portions, mini conserve pots and condiment sachets for you to enjoy during your stay. The indoor seating area features 2 tub chairs and a small fixed table which look onto the double doors which open right out. The hut can be heated by an electric stove which is next to these doors so you can enjoy both views and a heated towel rail in the bathroom. There is a double bed with storage underneath, shelves on the bedside and a double plug socket. You have your own private decking with a wicker privacy screen, a small table and chairs and 2 recliners. The recliners are stored in the outside storage (please return if raining as they will go rusty!) There is also a small portable BBQ which you are welcome to use, I do ask that if you are BBQing on the decking to use the slab provided as the decking is composite and will melt! The BBQ cooking utensils are under the sink. You will need to bring your own coals and fire lighters. There is a clip lighter provided. Now lets not forget the hot tub! Stylishly sunken into the decking, the hot tub is electrically heated and will be ready for you to enjoy from the moment you arrive. This spacious spa features colour-changing LED lights, three reclined seats and adjustable jets for the ultimate in comfort and relaxation. Simply fold back the cover and rest it on the slabs—then sit back, unwind, and soak it all in. Perfect for stargazing or unwinding after a day of exploration Connect your favourite playlist to the built-in Bluetooth speakers or just enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature around you. We do ask to please be considerate of our neighbours and keep the volume at a sensible level. We kindly ask that you read the hot tub rules and instructions found in the information folder before use. Please note! In the winter months, whilst using the tub, the temperature of the water will drop much quicker due to lower outside temperatures. The tub will start to heat up again as soon and it falls below its set temperature but will not be able to keep up if the lid is off. Take shorter dips and replace the lid for the water to heat back up again. The back porch can be used as a main entrance door, especially in the bad weather. There are hooks for wet coats/dog equipment. You can hang your coats and leads on the hooks provided. If you are bringing your furry friend there is a stainless steel water bowl and poo bags in the cupboard under the sink and some rolled up towels under the stove to dry them off. There is an outside tap with a hose so you can wash your muddy boots and potentially muddy dog off before entering back into the hut. I know it may be tricky but if you could encourage your dogs and supervise them whilst going to the toilet, on the grass bank at the side of the hut or the gravel please. If they do have a wee on the decking please clean up after them. There are cloths and spray under the sink. Please note that the Wifi signal may be very weak or non existent inside the hut due to the thick metal cladding but there are no issues outside, but who needs wifi when you have each other and the country side! And getting away from all of that it what it's all about no? My husband and I live at Watermill Cottage with our 4 Springer spaniels who you may hear barking on occasion, mainly at tractors and low flying buzzards! The end of our garden and garage is in view of from some of the decking as pictured, we do not use our garage for anything but storage and you may see us about at times as we leave and return from work and dog walks, but this should not interfere with your stay. The lane is used frequently, especially with heavy farm vehicles and is a few meters away from the hut. The neighbouring fields the hut overlooks are farmed on with lambs and sheep in the spring/ summer time and baling, grass cutting and muck spreading so expect to see tractors toing and froing in season and potentially being close to the hut at times. Entering these field is prohibited so please respect this. If you are bringing your dog please ensure they are kept under control as there will be sheep and lambs around in the spring and summer. If you are lucky enough you may see our resident Spitfire passing over as we are on the flight path for some of their trips. Along with low flying Chinooks and Geese! The area: ***Before booking, please be aware that access to all amenities are driving distance away.
