La petite grange

This cottage used to be the goat barn of the adjacent house. We did the restoration of the building ourselves, with respect for the materials customary in the region, with respect for the environment by very thoroughly insulating, and by central heating with wood. The space You enter on the ground floor where you will find a large entrance and toilet. There is space here for bicycles, luggage, etc. On the first floor is the living room with open kitchen and salon. Opening the French window will lead you to the private terrace with garden chairs and table. If you go up the outside stairs, you will enter the garden. If you go up another staircase, you will enter the herb garden, which you can use of course. You notice that stairs are inevitable, but the cottage is also on a slope which gives a nice view, and especially a lot of sun. If you go back to the living room, you can go up the stairs to the upper floor with the round window, the double bed of 180cm, the bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a BBQ, charcoal is to be provided by you, in the summer months of July, August and September. Other things to note Breakfast is not included; there is a spacious kitchen to prepare meals yourself. Also know that you are booking in a French rural area, weak internet outside the gîte, distance to shops, but peace, quiet, ideal for hiking, wildlife spotting, cycling.
