Welcome to our alpine hut 1792, built entirely of wood, one of the very few that were saved during the First World War, still today a guardian of the authentic atmosphere of the mountain homes of the past. Here you will not find artificial luxury, but the real atmosphere of mountain dwellings: not soundproofed but with creaky floors that tell the story of generations, gnarled beams, corners that smell of history and windows that have withstood two centuries of bad weather. The space The house offers four cozy bedrooms, Wi-Fi, a traditional living room, complete with board games, a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony, also completely made of wood, overlooking the valley. Each room tells a story: the Van Gogh Room overlooking the fountain, the more comfortable and intimate Stangort Room, the Double Room, the bright Camerone with 4 beds, perfect for the group of friends who want to stay together. Outside, right in front of the house, there is a drinking fountain and two private parking spaces. You will also find a bar/grocery store twenty meters from the house. Strategic Location – Access to the Slopes You are in the heart of the Sellaronda: the iconic 40 km circular track that connects four valleys (Val Gardena, Val Badia, Val di Fassa and Arabba) through the famous Gardena, Campolongo, Pordoi and Sella Passes, which can be completed in one day both in winter (ski/snowboard) and in summer (mountain bike). Distances: Arabba 10 minutes, Alleghe 15 minutes, Corvara 20-25 minutes and Cortina d'Ampezzo 30 minutes through the Falzarego Pass, which is only 5 km away. Three of the most famous ski resorts in the Dolomites can be reached in a few minutes directly from the house. Every morning a different valley. You are at the center of the largest ski carousel in the Alps – Val Gardena, Cortina, Marmolada, Alta Badia – 1,200 km of slopes, zero repetitions, endless slopes. OTHER THINGS TO KNOW The house is historic (1792): entirely made of wood, under the supervision of the Fine Arts, it has been renovated while maintaining charm and authenticity, but ensuring well-being, starting with Dorelan mattresses and pillows for those who experience sleep as an integral part of their performance. Smoking is prohibited in the house and on the balcony. The village is very quiet: perfect for rest, nature and serenity. Heating is present and ensures a comfortable environment. Bus stop on the Dolomites highway a few meters away. There are books in the house to consult for information on trails, activities, and scenic spots.
