Whether you're coming as an individual holidaymaker or as a family with children and whether you're looking for peace and quiet or planning plenty of activities for your vacation - you've found the right place here, and are welcome! The comfortable 3-star Forest House holiday home offers everything you'll need to return well-rested to your hectic everyday life. The house can be rented for €499/week with a double bedroom for two people or for 4 people for €599 per week. Also, the second double bedroom has a pull-out sofa bed and a crib. If you like adventure, there's also a bed available in the forest house for snorers. There is a sauna in the basement for your exclusive use, free of charge. Your enjoyment is guaranteed! However, additional costs for electricity and water will be added. Please see the photos of the inside areas, as pictures say more than words. In the warmer times of year, take your meals on the terrace behind the house and use the grill to your heart's content. You'll have the feeling that you're entirely alone here. The holiday home is located on a 2,000 m2 closed-off property. Dogs will have a large area to patrol, and will be at home here. Here in the valley, where time has been staying still for quite some time, you can spend your holiday without any disturbance. Up a 35-step staircase, there is the so-called snorer's house, which belongs to the property and is available for your exclusive use as well. Up here, at the edge of the forest, is an ideal place to enjoy a cool glass of wine on the veranda during the hot summer months, while refreshing winds blow off of the forest. The sunny meadow in front of the forest house is perfect for taking your leave of everyday stresses and just relax. While the deer mating season from mid-September to mid-October is a highly-awaited event in the valley, you can see deer, roe deer, and wild boar from the terrace or from the kitchen window year-round on the meadow above the house. The Upper Middle Rhine Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site can be discovered on foot via the Rheinsteig trail or with a car, train, or ship. Highlights: experience Rüdesheim am Rhein, float over Germania and Niederwalddenkmal in a cable car, visit the eaglery with its unique view of the Rheingau, visit the Folter Museum, the Christmas Market of Nations, and much more. We're happy to give you tips even before your arrival, and will help you with any questions you have. We are also here for you during your stay via phone and Internet. The main Rhine cities of Wiesbaden, Frankfurt, Mains, and the Nahe and Mosel regions are just a hop, skip, and a jump from Sauertal. When the weather is hot, you can use the town pool for free, or head down to the archery range to learn to shoot bow and arrow, or solve a riddle in town via geo-caching.
