Our pets are secured at night to ensure this as well. The guest bedroom is located on the opposite end of the house from the other upstairs bedrooms, and sound does not travel between the bedrooms. The main kitchen is directly above the guest bedroom, so we make a point not to use the kitchen after 9 PM. We want our guests to feel comfortable and enjoy a peaceful, restful stay.
