According to that Bernstein is Castle is one of the oldest and highest castles of Burgenland (the easternmost part of Austria). The main structure that is still habitable today was built in the 16th and 17th century, during and after the Austro-Turkish wars. Guest access The price does not include breakfast, but it is possible to have breakfast (and sometimes dinner) in the great Renaissance hall of the hotel. Rooms that are used together with the family and other guests are the tea saloon, the fireplace room and the inner courtyard of the castle. Experience the way of life while you are wandering through the beautiful garden surrounding the castle! Other things to note Please note that the room itself does not offer Wifi. Wifi is available free of charge in the tea room or by the open fireplace.
