The McKenzie House is a charming historic home in Springville, Utah, affectionately known as "Art City." Built in 1893 and restored in 2018, she hits that coveted sweet spot of a small-town-feel, while still being close to everything. Less than two miles from I-15, the home is only a few blocks from many great restaurants + shops. Drive time to downtown Provo is under 10 mins, and less than 1 hour to Salt Lake City. Guests will park on the street in front of the home and enter through a private entrance that goes directly into the rental space on the south side of the property (when facing the house from the street this will be on the right side). There is ample parking available, so don't fret. Check-in and check-out will be done through a unique lock code that will be sent to you the evening before your stay. The private bathroom is an en-suite to the bedroom, so this is really a very cozy, private retreat! Guest bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Private exterior entrance directly into rental space. Beautiful private outdoor terrace for guests. The homeowner will be available via the app prior to your stay, or via the app or text messaging during your stay. Springville is affectionately referred to as "Art City" and is home to some of the best artists in the country, particularly sculptors. You'll see lots and lots of bronze sculptures as you drive around town! The beautiful Springville Art Museum is also located near the home, and their excellent exhibits are a great place to visit. If mountain-life is more your thing, Springville is also home to the stunning Hobble Creek Canyon, which is less than a 10 minute drive away. And of course, don't forget the popular farmer's market held on Monday nights throughout most of the year within walking distance of the home. Driving is your best bet for getting around town, although there are several restaurants and shops within walking distance. If going to the Salt Lake area, the 'Frontrunner' commuter train is also an option with a hub in Provo just a 10 minute drive from the home.
