The Tamm Loft is on the upper level of the historical Tamm Building, a renovated two-story brick building on the National Register of Historic Places in Downtown Washington, Missouri. Once the home and shoe business of George Tamm until 1925, it is now an attorney’s office with the Tamm Loft above and the Tamm Studio on the street level. The Tamm Loft is in the heart of WashMo and Missouri wine country and less than an hour from St. Louis. The Tamm Loft is the upper level of the renovated 1864 brick building and has 2 bedrooms, 1-1/2 bathrooms, kitchen, and living area. It sleeps a total of 6 people. Over a century old, natural light floods through the large windows. The tin ceiling in the bedroom, the restored woodwork throughout, and the hardwood floors add a beautiful charm to the loft. The Tamm Loft is dog friendly for pre-approved dogs only. THE LOFT Located on the second level of the building, you’ll go up a set of stairs to enter the space. The living area on the main level of the loft and is an open floor plan showcasing the tall windows and hardwood floors. The great room has a queen sleeper sofa, a flat screen TV, and an electric fireplace. The dining area has an antique dining table with six chairs. The full kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals, including place settings, pots and pans, wine glasses, and both a Keurig and a regular coffee maker. The main level bedroom has a king size bed with crisp white linens and a view of Jefferson Street. The second bedroom is up the industrial stairs and open to the main level, with a king size bed and a view of the Missouri River. The en suite bathroom has a large jetted tub and a walk-in shower. The half bathroom is located off the kitchen area. BALCONY The small balcony off the great room overlooks Jefferson Street and has a view of downtown building rooftops and the Missouri River. LAUNDRY The washer and dryer is located in the upper bedroom and is accessible to guests. PARKING There is plenty of free street parking on both Jefferson and Second Street.
