With a short 10-minute walk to downtown Chicago’s train stations, exploring the city has never been easier. The iconic Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District, known for its stunning architectural heritage, is only a 6-minute stroll away, making this home an ideal base for urban adventures. You also have access to city of Oak Park’s vibrant downtown by Lake Street and Harlem Avenue within easy reach. Accommodation: This two-story home features six spacious bedrooms, thoughtfully arranged for a restful stay. The primary suite on the second floor offers a luxurious retreat with an amazing master bathroom complete with a king-size bed, a TV, and a pack-and-play for your little one. Adjacent to the primary suite is a second bedroom with three beds, comfortably sleeping up to four guests. There is another bedroom with a full trundle bed that can sleep up to 3. On this level, you’ll also find a beautifully tiled Jack and Jill bathroom with a bathtub/shower combination. Interior Arrangements: On the first floor, the living areas of the home exude elegance, with hardwood floors and stylish décor throughout. The living room is designed for relaxation, featuring a comfortable stylish couch , two chairs and a 50-inch TV, making it ideal for movie nights or cozy gatherings. The dining area boasts a well-appointed 10-person table, perfect for family meals, elegant dinners, and memorable evenings together. On the lower level, there are two futon couches which can provide additional sleeping space and a 50-inch TV, making it ideal for movie nights or cozy gatherings in this family room. Outdoor: Due to the cold weather in Forest Park, we are unable to make significant upgrades to the outdoor space on the rooftop until spring, as we finalized the purchase of the house at the end of November. However, guests can still enjoy the outdoors from the back porch, offering a peaceful spot to soak in the sights and sounds of Forest Park. The fenced-in backyard is an attractive feature, providing a safe and relaxing area for both play and leisure. Local Attractions Near the Property: Beyond dining, guests can explore the vibrant area with shopping, antique merchants, and charming boutiques along Madison Street. Professional Cleaning: We ensure a welcoming environment by thoroughly cleaning the home between each guest’s stay. Our home is equipped with amenities such as garage parking for 1 car and an additional concrete pad for one more vehicle, a washer and dryer, and complimentary Wi-Fi, all designed to make your stay stress-free and comfortable. Guest Access: Guests have access to parking for up to two cars—1 in the garage and one on the concrete pad next to the building (to the right of the building) making your stay both easy and convenient. Please do not park two cars on the driveway as your car will be sticking out blocking the pedestrian sidewalk. We are not responsible if you ended up with a ticket. Guest access Access to the entire building including the rooftop. Due to extreme weather in Forest Park, Rooftop is not allowed from 11/01 to 4/30 If you have more than two cars, you can park on the street, but you will need to call your license plate number into the village of Forest Park. If you do not register your car overnight parking, you can run the risk of getting a ticket. The first three nights of street parking are free and after that the village will charge you $7 per night. You can register your car online or call it in. Other things to note When you’re our guest, we want you to relax, unwind, and enjoy every moment of your vacation.
