Welcome to our charming vacation home overlooking Bern and the Jura Mountains. The house is located in front of a former quarry, the material of which was once used, among other things, for the construction of the old town of Bern. Three bedrooms (including a baby cot), two bathrooms (shower, bathtub, washing tower) and a fully equipped kitchen offer comfort. Living room with large couch and TV, dining area with high chair. The space The village Steibruch 198 in Bolligen is quiet and green right in front of the former quarry on the northern edge of Bern and offers a beautiful view over the city, the Bernese Hausberg Gurten and over the Jura chain. By public transport you can reach the city center of Bern in about 35 minutes; Zurich can be reached in about 1¾ hours, Geneva in about 2¾ hours. The Wankdorf highway exit is only about a 10-minute drive, which ensures excellent accessibility: you are quickly on the highways towards the west, eastern Switzerland, the Alps and Emmental and benefit from short, direct connections in all directions. Nearby is the Westside with a wide range of shopping, cinema and adventure pool – ideal for leisure and shopping. In addition, beautiful exploration tours by bike or on foot can be started from here, for example to the Bantiger; the location on the Herzroute (Switzerland 99) makes the location particularly attractive for e-bike enthusiasts. The location is central and versatile: in Bern you will find museums, theaters, the historic old town and fine gastronomy; in the Bernese Oberland you will find Thun, Interlaken, numerous hikes and mountain railways; in the Emmental you will find gentle hills and idyllic villages – perfect for excursions on the weekend.
