Bed & Bad Suite 429
Bed & Bad Suite 429
Description
Slow down in this unique, soothing accommodation. On the Maasdijk, in the greenery, is a lovely guest house, complete with a private garden with wood-fired hot tub. Suite 429 is a luxuriously finished cottage with a living room, compact kitchen with dishwasher, spacious bedroom with freestanding bath and luxurious bathroom. On the other side of the dike, you can use a private beach, located on the Afgedamde Maas. Perfect for a refreshing dip! The space You enter directly into the living room, a spacious sofa and table with chairs. And a collection of board games. Also nice to do again. On the same floor is the compact kitchen, with fridge, dishwasher, coffee and tea facilities, hob and air fryer/mini oven. The stairs down leads to a spacious, bright bedroom with a very comfortable and quality double bed with down duvets. There is also a bathtub in the room and from there access to the luxurious bathroom with rain shower and separate toilet and closet space. From the bedroom there is access to a spacious private garden with lots of privacy. In the garden there are various seating areas (including table and chairs and sun loungers), a BBQ (Kamado, bring your own charcoal) and beautiful design hot tub . The hot tub is wood-fired and can be used all year round. You can do the heating and filling of the hot tub yourself (you will receive instructions after booking) and contribute to a wonderfully relaxing stay. If you would like to use the hot tub during your stay, the costs are Euro 15.00 per time based on use. Included are cleaning hot tub (we do), the water to fill the hot tub and wood to heat the hot tub (you do that yourself). How beautiful it is to sit surrounded by greenery in a lovely warm bath. Even in the snow this is a fantastic experience! And then the beach: just cross the dike, and there you have a very nice private plot of land and beach. This little area with a beach is, in addition to our own use, exclusively for guests of B&B Suite 429 to use and enjoy, and is furnished with your own comfortable chairs, your own large picnic table, and a fire pit. The total area is approximately 360 m2, half of which is reserved for you. In the warmer months, it is very nice for swimming and water sports (SUP board is for rent). But swimming is also possible in the colder months for the brave (and then the hot tub afterwards...). A few weeks a year (in the winter months) the beach may not be accessible due to the higher water level. What else is useful to know: heating the hot tub can really take some hours (about 3.5 hours), especially if it's cold outside. If you want to use the hot tub directly on the day of arrival, please note that you will also start burning immediately after arrival. You don't have to stay with this all the time, but you do regularly “feed” the fire and stir the water so that the heating goes efficiently. One more general comment. The stairs in the cottage are steep. The short route across the dike down to the beach is also steep. The beach is accessible by road, but then you walk for about 10 minutes. So if you have difficulty walking, please take this into account. Bedding, towels, bathrobe, slippers, hammam cloth (for beach and/or hot tub are provided. Pets are not allowed. For bookings before September 11, 2026 with a pet, this booking will of course be respected, and we would of course be happy to welcome you and your dog! Other things to note From September 11, 2026, it will no longer be possible to bring a pet such as a dog. Bookings made before the date with a pet will of course be respected. If you have used the option to bring your dog (maximum 1), we ask that you bring your own basket. We provide a towel if your dog is wet from, for example, swimming or rain. In addition, your dog must always be on a leash when you leave or return to the cottage. This is because there are chickens running around on our property and we ourselves have a dog and cats. In the backyard, your dog can of course run around freely. Sweet dogs are welcome, aggressive dogs are not.
