Just 25 minutes from Montélimar, its small alleys and its gastronomy, come and recharge in a typical setting of the Drome plains. Our refuge, immersed in nature, opens the gates of the Diois, the Prealps and all their wonders, like the Synclinal Perché de Saoû less than 20 minutes away The space . Located on the stud (equestrian center) of Lucie, your Homnest host, the refuge has all the amenities in 14 square meters perfectly optimized for an immersion in nature: 🏡 THE REFUGE • Sleeping area: a queen size bed 160x200 cm (2 adults) and a sofa bed (1 extra adult, extra bed) • Kitchen area: fridge, gas hob, sink, utensils, dishes and condiments • Lounge area, dining with high table, stools • Bathroom: Sink, walk-in shower, and eco-friendly toilet (dry toilet) • Soaps, towels, and bedding provided • Gas stove heating • Ceiling fan to cool off (no air conditioning) • Outdoor furniture (except winter): table, chairs & Chilean (no barbecue) • Drinking water via an 8L fountain • Tap water: Do not drink water from the faucets, which is not drinkable (tank) • Housekeeping included ✓ Check-in: 4:00 PM after 4:00 PM ✓ Check-out by 10am ✓ Lockbox available in case of late arrival ✓ Free parking 🔥 HEATING • Thanks to its powerful stove, your refuge becomes a real warm cocoon, even when cold winter temperatures are rife outside. Within minutes, an enveloping heat spreads throughout the lodge. A soft and comforting atmosphere, perfect for a book by the fire or just gazing at the soft orange flames. 💨 FAN (but no air conditioning) • A ceiling fan will give you the feeling of freshness in the bed in the summer. ★ EXTRAS ONSITE To make your getaway even sweeter, your host offers different extras on site (to be booked at least 48 hours before your stay, then depending on availability after that time) Meals 🥐 side • Breakfast (€10/person or €15 for brunch) 🐴 Activities Horseback riding (rates per person and subject to the equestrian center's availability) •⁠ 1 hour: €30 / 1 hour 30 minutes: €40 / 2 hours: €55 •⁠ Half day: €75 / Day €110 •⁠ 2-hour aperitif walk: €65 •⁠ 30-minute pony ride with the pony held by hand: €15 💡 GOOD TO KNOW The refuge is installed in nature and fully self-contained: electricity is produced by solar panels, kitchen and heating run on gas and running water is stored in a tank. You have all the usual comforts, but the idea of an alternative habitat is also to become aware of its impact on the environment! As a result, a few rules are required during your stay: 1) Except phones and laptops, electrical appliances other than those provided on site should not be connected at the risk of damaging the solar system. It is therefore not possible to use, for example, your hair dryer, a straightening iron or a raclette machine 2) The risk of fire being very high in nature, it is strictly forbidden to smoke in and around the shelter, but also to light any flame (no barbecue) 3) Sewage is filtered by plants: you are asked to only use the 100% natural products provided (shower gel, dish soap) 4) No pets allowed in the shelter Guest access . 🔑 CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT ✓ Check-in: 4:00 PM after 4:00 PM ✓ Check-out by 10am ✓ Lockbox available in case of late arrival ✓ You have a free space to park your vehicle, close to the shelter Other things to note . 📋 IMPORTANT TO NOTE TOO • The shelter is located on the grounds of your host, who lives and/or works on site. You may therefore come across each other during the stay • Animals may be present on site or nearby (dogs, chickens, etc.) • The shelter is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
