In addition to a soaring great room on the top floor of the home, your guests can enjoy outdoor dining and living rooms on the upper deck right off the kitchen. Each level of the house provides a unique vantage from which to soak in unspoiled views of a nearby island, the expanse of the lake, and surrounding mountain ranges. Floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors create the perfect opportunity to open the entire home to the pristine nature waiting just outside your door. Cliff and Canopy was designed to maximize both fun and comfort. From the dedicated kids room and deck hammocks to the private dock and boat slip just steps from the house, every member of your group will find a favorite spot and activity to pass the time on Pend Oreille. We welcome guests bringing their own boat to the private slip or renting on the lake once they arrive - we're available to help out with suggestions on where to put in, where to visit, and what to do across the entire lake. Nearby Sandpoint has loads of amazing restaurants but few places can compete with the setting of the property - the kitchen has been fully stocked to prepare food to match the views for those who prefer to stay in. Guest access We use a entirely remote check-in process at Cliff and Canopy - we provide the details to you a few days before check in so that you know how to locate the home, where to park, and how to access the house for your stay. All our guests have direct access to the water via Cliff and Canopy's private dock and shoreline. Our private island and all its amenities are available for guests who book with us for at least 30 days. Details to access the island will be shared with guests who reserve for at least one month - unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions to this policy. Other things to note Cliff and Canopy is perched on a bluff - do take caution with small children outside the home and when walking the trail down to the private dock.
