The Squirrels Nest cabin is located just a few miles outside of the town of Frenchville, within 30 minutes drive to Clearfield (grocery stores & restaurants) 45 min to Benezette (Elk viewing center) 50 min to Penn State & Dubois. Located approx. 1 mile back a gravel road, the cabin offers privacy and beautiful views. Watch for deer & turkeys, as well as mountain songbirds. Possible Elk sightings! WIFI and TV. HOT TUB and Pickleball. The space The cabin offers everything you need for a staycation. As well as being located with in 30 to 45 min to grocery stores and area attractions. The cabin has 4 bedrooms, (2 king beds, 1 Queen, 1 Double) 2 1/2 Baths, a full kitchen w all the essentials for cooking, washer and dryer, Basement w games, TV area, and toys. Hot tub open all year. Pickleball Court. Fire Pit. THE SPACE: Upon entering through the front door you'll find a half bath, the stairs to your left to the 2nd floor, dining room to your right. Dining Room w seating for 6. Continue through the dining room to the kitchen Kitchen: fully equipped with all the essentials for cooking, Keurig and drip coffee maker, dishwasher, breakfast table w 2 chairs Laundry Room: washer and dryer. Through the kitchen to the LIVING ROOM there's a large sectional sofa, fireplace (decor purpose only), books, toys, games. Large patio doors to see to the backyard. DOUBLE BEDROOM is off the living room MASTER BEDROOM & ATTACHED BATH off the Hallway : King bed, desser, bath w shower/ tub combo UPSTAIRS: The top of the stairs to the left. KING BEDROOM w King bed, comfy chair, dresser, closet. Continue down the hall to the right BATHROOM w tub/shower combo Continue to QUEEN BEDROOM, Queen Bed w comfy chair, dresser, closet. BASEMENT (door is off the main floor Hallway) sofa, Smart TV (to log into your own accounts), foosball, MISS PACMAN Arcade game, toys. **We suggest bringing slippers to wear in the basement, we do have carpeted areas but some areas are concrete floor. OUTDOORS: Large yard and wrap around porch offer beautiful views of the property. Hot tub on the back patio w great backyard views! (Guests must provide their own towels for hot tub) Pickleball Court, Fire Pit. Guests are welcome to walk around, to ensure you stay on the property do not enter the woods at any time. Do not enter the hunting blinds or the barn. The road to the cabin is a great place to walk as well w minimal traffic. *No hunting is allowed on the property! *Respect locked closets and doors Guest access Guests have access to the home and yard. Keep out of the woods, NO HUNTING! Keep out of barn and hunting blinds. Respect locked doors. Other things to note **The road leading to the cabin is a gravel road and is only maintained by residents of this road, please use caution and take it slow. There is limited winter maintenance, you may need 4 wheel drive during winter months. **We offer a complimentary starter kit of necessary amenities which is generally enough for shorter stays, but after that is used up it is the responsibility of the guest to provide for themselves. **This home has weekly lawn maintenance. Please be advised someone may enter the property for these purposes. **Any items left at the home can be shipped but require a $25 fee in addition to the cost of shipping.
