Book your memorable mountain escape! The space Welcome to our cozy cabin perched on the east-facing ledge of Baxter Mountain. The home features an open floor plan with cathedral ceilings and large windows that showcase breathtaking sunrises over the mountains. Gather in the comfortable living area, warmed by a crackling fire in the wood stove, or put on a record from our curated vinyl collection using the Marantz sound system. The fully renovated kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal and the back deck offers a great space to entertain family and friends. **Living Area:** * Comfortable couch, armchair, and a Stressless reclining chair * Wood stove (primary heat in winter) with complimentary kiln-dried firewood * Marantz sound system with a record player and vinyl collection * Board games, card games, and puzzles for family fun **Kitchen & Dining:** * Fully renovated with stainless steel appliances (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher) * Moccamaster coffee machine, French press, ground coffee, and teas * Stocked with cookware, bakeware, spices, and kid-friendly dishware **Bedrooms (4):** * Master Bedroom (Main Level): Queen bed * Bunk Room (Main Level): Twin bunk beds * Loft Bedroom (Above Living Area): Queen bed * Lower-Level Bedroom: King bed with a walkout to the screened porch **Bathrooms (2):** * Main Level: Full bath with a shower/tub combo * Lower Level: Functional walk-in shower - The lower level bathroom also houses a washer and dryer available for use **Outdoor Spaces:** * Spacious deck with a Blackstone grill and dining table * Fire pit with Adirondack chairs * Screened porch perfect for coffee or reading * Private trails leading to a spectacular overlook, a rope swing, hammocks and scenic fire pits. Guest access Guests will have full and private access to the entire house and the surrounding 16-acre property. This includes all living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, outdoor decks, the screened porch, and the private trail system. A few closets and storage areas on the lower level are kept locked for owner supplies and are not accessible to guests. Other things to note **Checkout:** We do NOT have an extensive checkout list! We believe the last morning of your stay should be stress-free. We simply ask that you treat our home as if it were your own. **Security:** For your security, the property is equipped with exterior security cameras. These devices are located on the exterior of the home and do not monitor any interior spaces. **Connectivity:** Due to our mountain location, cell reception is spotty. You can make and receive calls by enabling WiFi calling on your phone. **Wildlife & Bugs:** You are in the Adirondack wilderness! You may encounter wildlife such as deer around the property. There WILL be bugs, so please pack bug spray and keep exterior doors and screens closed. You may also see mice, moths, or ants in or around the cabin despite our best efforts to prevent them. **Family Items:** We have a Pack ‘n Play, high chair, infant tub, and hiking carrier available. Please message us to request these items when booking. **Heating:** The cabin is heated by a wood stove (firewood provided), propane, and electric baseboard heat. **Driveway Conditions:** Guests visiting particularly in winter should be aware that the driveway is gravel and steep in sections; all-wheel drive, four-wheel drive, snow tires/ snow chains are recommended. A plow service maintains the driveway during winter storms, but guests may need to park at the bottom during heavy snowfall, icy or muddy conditions. We will not issue refunds related to weather or driveway conditions. Please ask any questions you have about access before booking.
