Experience life onboard in the heart of Gothenburg! *Please read carefully the full description below before reserving The space Visita is a small sailboat (8.7x2.6m) with a charming wooden interior. Fits 2 guests perfectly, 3 could be a bit tight, depending on your luggage. She will keep you warm in winter and offer a unique view and beautiful sunsets in the summer. Visita is equipped with bed clothing, towels, coffee, tea, and the possibility to cook simple meals onboard. Experience the beauty of simplicity and the soothing effect of living on the water. When you access the boat you enter the saloon. The saloon: It has a table with 2 seats on the right (starboard) and a sofa on the left (port). The height of the saloon is 1.75 m in 80% of it's surface. There is a small sink with fresh water (coming from a tank), a small electric stove for basic cooking, a kettle, and a Frech press for coffee. Moving forward, you enter the forward cabin, with a double bed (1.90 m long). This bed fits two persons (a bit tight at the feet if you are more than 1.70, the bed has a triangle shape like the boat) . It has a hanger for clothes and storage. The height is 1.56 m, with a small sector with 1.65m. it is mostly a bed space with some minimal storage. On the back of the saloon, there is a bunk bed. The bunk bed looks narrow but fits an adult with no problem. It is 1.9 m long. There is a seat in the saloon that could be used also as a single bed, in case you are 3 and don't want to share beds. Important: There is no working toilet onboard. Toilets/showers: You will have access to the marina facilities with a tag 24/7, including 6 showers and 6 toilets, 20 meters from the boat. Men and Women toilets and showers are separated. You will also have access to the marina washing and drying machines. The boat has an exterior space with 4 seats (cockpit). You can enjoy your coffee or lunch with a beautiful water view, if the weather is inviting. During the winter, the cockpit is covered so you can seat outdoors protected from the rain and snow. See "Other details to note" section below, especially for winter time! Guest access The entire boat is your home. Important: if you have reduced mobility, this boat is not for you, unfortunately. You have to climb a bit to get on and off the boat. Please ask me more questions if you have doubts. The toilets and showers are accessed 24/7 with a code in the summer and a magnetic tag in the winter. Regarding the showers, I recommend the use of flip flops given that it's shared with other users, bring your own please. Other things to note Visita is a classic sailboat from the late 70s, made in Sweden with very nice and professional craftmanship. Its lenght is 8.7m and its max width is 2.6m. If you enjoy cozy places and don't mind to be in a small space with a beautiful view, you will have a great stay. Be aware that if you are taller than around 1.73, you won't be able to be fully standing inside (bending your head a bit most of the time). Remember to bring flip flops for the shower. I will provide towels and shower gel. Last but not least: Between around December and mid March, the water pipes of the marina freeze, so there is no running water in the docks (but of course there is on the toilets/showers!). In this period, you will have inside the boat 2 small tanks 10 liters each that are easy to refill in the marina facilities. The tanks have a tap so you can use them on the side of the sink to wash your hands/plates and to cook/drink. These 2 tanks are usually enough if you are staying 2 or 3 days. If you are staying for more days in winter, you will need to refill them 20 meters from the boat, inside the marina facilities.
