The space About this place 🏡De Yang House is a wooden house rebuilt from the 100-year-old traditional houses of the Dzay people, redesigned with modern amenities while retaining the rich culture of the highland ethnic people🌿 No pool, no TV, no air conditioning, but there is always hot water, internet and warm blankets. Simple, beautiful moments like wild flowers and the feeling of touching the green mountains🌿 📍 8 km from Sapa, 30 minutes by taxi 🏡 Peaceful, full of nature, with ethnic minority neighbors 🐕 Dogs, cats and chickens roam around We are 2 young people (1 manager and 1 employee) who are all introverted, shy and sincere. This is also the typical personality of indigenous people. I want to keep that personality, so you can get a better sense of the people here. The space 🏠 The space is very cozy, the MAIN HOUSE has 5 private rooms (thick and soft mattresses), each room has a common living area with the best view and a comfortable sofa for chatting. Small Kitchen area for everyone to make coffee, tea and cook noodles. We do not charge a fee to use the kitchen if you only cook simple dishes, just help us clean the kitchen after use 🌿 The scenery changes with the seasons - always beautiful and peaceful, even on foggy rainy days. It's not just a retreat, it's a way to connect with nature and soothe the soul. 👋 We don't have a receptionist, but sometimes the housekeeper Thao will be there to chat - sometimes not. During your stay, a housekeeper will come to clean the house/room ( upon your request). After that, you will have complete privacy, ensuring both comfort and relaxation. 😊 🛏️ Bedroom The homestay has two floors and both have bedrooms, with 20 cm thick mattresses, warm blankets, soft pillows and heated bed sheets for winter. A large window opens to the street or garden 🏡 Amenities We provide: • Electric kettle • Hairdryer 💇‍♂️ • Paper towels, shampoo, shower gel and hand soap 🧴 • A bottle of drinking water 💧 The water supply comes from mountain springs, fresh and plentiful for bathing. 🚿 Bathroom There are 2 downstairs and outside the yard, provided with hand wash. 🚨 Note: In Vietnam, please do not flush toilet paper - use the provided trash can to avoid clogging the pipes. 🚭 Smoking No smoking inside the house, but you can smoke outside in the yard. 📅 Early check-in possible if there are no consecutive bookings. Let us know your arrival time in advance. 💰 Discount available for extended stays and last-minute bookings - message us for details! 🍽️ Food You can order food at home or you can order outside and bring it home to eat (and we can charge a small cleaning fee). Please read the 'Other details to note' and 'Guest Access' sections below for important information Guest access 🔑 Security The house has a room lock, Please lock the house when you go out and keep the key with you when you come back. There is a space to leave luggage ❣️free of charge before you check in and after you check out. 🏡High-speed Wi-fi, amenities (hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel, hand soap) Daily 🧹 cleaning Our housekeeper will come daily to clean the house and sweep the floor to keep your space fresh and tidy. Bed linen 🛏️ and towels are provided - For stays longer than 7 days, we provide free bed linen and bed linen changes. - For shorter stays, changing bed sheets costs 200,000 VND per request. 🌼 Laundry and drying: 45,000 VND/1 kg Other things to note - 🗑️ Trash Please do not leave used trash or towels on the floor. Rubbish must be in the trash bins and towels must be in the baskets. Don't forget to turn off the lights before you leave. - 💰 Payment You can pay by bank transfer or cash. Please help us manage your bill by keeping track of your used services and paying at checkout - keep things simple and easy 🙂 - 🌡️ Temperature Sapa's altitude brings cool winds and high humidity. Summer is about 22-27°C, while winter can drop to 0°C. Bring a warm jacket or buy one in Sapa town. - 🏡 About Ta Van village Ta Van is located in the Muong Hoa valley, home to H'mong, Dao and Dzay ethnic groups. The village has traditional stilt houses, wooden houses, local cafes and restaurants. Rice fields support the community, and artisans craft musical instruments, silver and textiles. - 🌾 Things visitors love about Ta Van Visitors love being surrounded by rice fields and ethnic tribes for an authentic cultural experience. Every walk has a spectacular view. The village has cafes, markets and is a great trekking facility to nearby villages. Walking along the rice fields with a local guide is both insightful and safe. - 🏍️ How to get here Trains, night buses and cABIN buses run daily from Hanoi to Sapa. Ta Van village is 8 km from Sapa, about 25 minutes drive. Our reliable taxi driver can take you directly to the house. Or, rent a motorbike and drive yourself. Some guests leave their luggage at a hotel in Sapa if they only stay here for a few days. - 🎭 Activities 1️⃣ Trekking Walk through the mountains and villages with a local guide. Enjoy the local cuisine, listen to the sound of the river and immerse yourself in nature. Perfect for those who love walking and adventure. 2️⃣ Handicraft Workshop Experience the traditional process of making people's clothes - everything from plant-based dyes to hand-woven fabrics. A creative getaway, perfect for foggy, rainy or sunny days. 3️⃣ Motorcycle tour For adventurers! ride with a guide or drive yourself to discover the hidden gems of sapa - watch the sunset from the top of the mountain, jump on random rocks or swim in secret waterfalls. We found the real Sapa on a motorbike and would love to share it with you. Other favorite activities include taxi or motorbike tours to Fansipan cable car🚡, cat village, love waterfall, silver waterfall and sky gate. Or simply relax in the traditional herbal bath🌿. We can relax on the sofa or be creative in the large yard. You can order food at home or you can order outside and bring it home to eat, if you use the kitchen, we will charge a fee of 50,000 VND/person (self-cleaning) and 70,000 VND (if we clean for you). We have a beautiful cupboard in the kitchen, you can use your favorite things Other things to note We are not in a central location, we are 8km from the center.
