Dover Woods Apartments is located in Dover, Christ Church, directly opposite the old Luigi's Restaurant (your taxi would be familiar with this location) and close neighbor to Sandals Beach Resort. It is just a short 5 minute walk to the beach and 15 minutes to Restaurants and Nightlife in St Lawrence Gap. The nearest bus stop is only a 3 minutes walk away. From there you can explore the beautiful island or head to another beach. It's quite easy to get around Barbados by public transport as there is a well established public transportation system as well as private buses and vans. The standard bus fare in Barbados is BDS$2. This is the equivalent of US$1, but use local currency; no foreign coins are accepted on the Transport Board buses.
