This gorgeous, 3200 sq. ft. newly renovated lake house on the full rec Lake Morris Chain of Lakes is perfect for a family getaway, and spacious enough for 2 families with multiple generations to enjoy. Boat with kayaks, canoes, SUPs and water trampoline (all included) or rent/bring a power boat on this full recreation lake! In the winter, ski and tube at Nordic Mountain (3 minutes away) and icefish on the lake. 2 hours from Milwaukee and 3.5 hours from Chicago, this is your up north retreat! The space This is a great space for extended and/ or multiple families to enjoy, groups of friends, or a few couples! Sip your coffee as you enjoy the breathtaking views from the kitchen of the sun rising over Mt. Morris Lake. The stylish and newly renovated open floor plan kitchen, dining and living area is on the main floor of the house. The dining table seats 10 and the kitchen island seats 4. The expansive kitchen with gorgeous views of the lake is fully renovated with all new appliances and everything you need for making family meals. The open living area has a wood burning fireplace with a large, flat screen Smart TV and high speed WIFI. Streaming services on the flat panel TVs include Netflix, HBO Max and YouTube TV. Included on the main floor are 3 bedrooms with 3 king size beds and 2 full bathrooms. The spacious primary bedroom with beautiful views of the lake has plenty of room for a pack-n-play (included), or space to spread out and practice yoga. Working from home? There is a dedicated work space in the primary bedroom as well as an attached full bathroom. Downstairs is the walkout lower level with more large windows with views of the lake. The walkout lower level has a full bathroom, laundry room, bunk room with 6 twin beds, game room and another living area. Outside of the sliding doors is a 4 person hot tub with views of the lake. Rainy day? Stay downstairs and hang out in the game room with a TV and sectional couch. The game room includes a pool table, ping pong table, and plenty of board games. The lake house is in close proximity to the neighbors, with whom the driveway is shared. There are a total of 4 maximum parking spaces and 2 garage spaces for vehicles at the house. During the winter, enjoy ice fishing on Mt Morris Lake. Set your tips, then watch from the hot tub, or watch from the kitchen to see if you catch anything! Come summer, relax outside near the fire pit and picnic table, swim in the lake, jump on the water trampoline, fish off the dock, kayak/SUP/canoe (included) around the lake with 5 miles of shoreline, or rent/bring a motor boat to waterski and tube! There is an outdoor deck overlooking the lake where the grill sits. The patio table seats 8, includes an umbrella and there is comfortable outdoor patio furniture as well. The house is great for families, but it is not suitable for loud parties. Lake Morris The house sits on the largest of the 5 connected chain of lakes which spans 5 miles of shoreline. You can have a wake with a motor boat between 10am-5pm daily in our lake while the other lakes are no wake lakes. There is also a public sandy beach 2 minutes away by car, or an easy kayak/SUP/boat ride across the lake, which is great for swimming. **** Please note --- The dock and shore station will be removed from the water (equipment will be stored) from Early October until mid April or early May (weather dependent). If you have a specific question about your desired dates and whether or not use will be permitted, please ask directly as dates may slightly change! **** Guest access Guests have access to the whole home, interior and exterior hot tub, fire pit, decks, dock, hot tub and water trampoline and lake toys. The driveway is shared. **For now -- we are currently working on a construction date to get the driveways fully separated. For now the house shares a driveway with the neighboring house. There are 4 total guest parking spaces on the driveway, and 2 garage spaces as well. There is not a motorboat included, but you can rent pontoon boats and these places will deliver to our pier: Mount Morris Coffee Shop in Mt Morris Marks Quality Marina and Shop in Wautoma Blackhawk Marine in Wautoma Pontoons on the Move in Pewaukee Other things to note **** Please consider when booking --- The dock and shore station will be removed from the water (equipment will be stored) from Early October until mid April or early May (weather dependent). Use at your own risk, and never leave children unattended. The property sits on a lake and the body of water is accessible by walking. Swimming is at guest own risk, along with water toys and boating.
