Taiba "meaning little village" is a small fisherman's village 65km from Fortaleza (FOR) Int´l Airport in North Western Brazil, 3 degrees south of the equator at only a mere 7 hour flight from Lisbon. Taxi pickup at the airport can be arranged, a 55 min drive at a cost of appr. 40-50 USD. Walk straight from your own private pool down the stairs to the beach, a 10 meter walk :-) Stable air and water temp year round with a very nice onshore sea breeze . 28-30C daytime , 22-24 nighttime and 24-26 sea temp. Temp dew-point spread is typically 8-10 degrees: example temp 29 with a dew-point of 19-20 degrees. Therefore Air-condition is seldom needed. Rainy season" with morning and afternoon showers is typically during the months of March thru May. Taiba has several excellent restaurants, and is an idyllic haven for kitesurfing and water sports and relaxation in general. Air conditioned master bedroom w/bathroom also includes two bunk-beds for children up to the age of appr. 13-14 Second bedroom has 2 full size bunk-beds. 3rd and 4 bedroom has kingsize and queen size beds respectively. all linen ec. included. Hammocks are located on several locations throughout the garden. Rent includes gardener, daily pool cleaning and full maid service with making of breakfast and fruit juices etc. Lunch/dinner barbecue can be arranged for a small surcharge depending on number of guests etc. Beach buggy rental can be arranged and costs appr. 55 USD/day A must see, feel, smell and experience to appreciate !
