Located in the quite Timberbong Village, away from the hustle bustle of the city is ideal for those looking to disconnect and spend languid time with friends and family in the lap of nature. Enjoy the rustic Sikkim lifestyle surrounded by Hill Landscapes, Birds, Farm animals and a great variety of flora and fauna. Hike in the hills, breathe refreshing clean air and enjoy home grown pure organic food cooked on wood fire. The space This wood cabin is built on the slope of the hill adjacent to my families house. It has been designed in traditional Sikkimese style architecture – an example of traditional timber framing with beautiful exposed wood beams spanning the length of the interior space. The property opens up to the view of the lawns and the mountains on its east & farms towards the west. Lush fruit trees surround the property from all sides. During harvest season, you can pluck a kiwi or a plum right from the balcony and enjoy it while you take in the natural beauty of the hills. The interiors are decorated in traditional Sikkimese style using colorful woolen carpets with traditional motifs. It can accommodate families and groups of friends up to six in size. The first floor is an independent area with common space featuring windows framing beautiful views of the adjoining lawns and hills. It also has a attached bathroom with shower cubicle, toiletries & hot water.. It leads to the cozy bedroom which is furnished with a comfortable queen size bed, a wardrobe and a cute bathroom with shower cubicle, toiletries & hot water. The bedroom opens to a balcony, which overlooks the lawns and the residing family's cottage. Guest access The guests are allowed access to the main lawn Or if they are interested and the weather permits, the breakfast and dinner table can also be arranged in the lawn. Other than the lawn , the guests can also access the house farm and kitchen garden to pick the seasonal organic vegetables and fruits for breakfast / dinner.
