This newly renovated 2BD/1BA apartment is clean, modern, and spacious making it perfect for a short or long term stay. Some of the features include: • King/queen beds + Crate & Barrel sofa in living room (very comfortable brand that we use in our own living room) • Fully stocked kitchen with coffee bar • Proper workspace with adjustable desk • NO steps in the apartment (see below for full notice if you plan to use a wheelchair) • Full-sized washer/dryer The space The apartment entrance is at street level (into a walk-in basement). We provide clean, fresh towels, bed sheets, and quilts/blankets for convenience. Everything is freshly laundered for each guest. Other key features include: • 3 blocks (0.5 mi) from the Wissahickon Valley Park which is 2,000+ acres with 50+ miles of hiking trails •1.3 mi from the Schuylkill River Trail which is a 30+ mile running/bike trail from Philadelphia to Valley Forge We have also designed the space with the following features to make it more accessible. Please note that the unit does NOT meet ADA requirements. • Door clearance (with door open at 90°): 32" front door | 29" bathroom | 28" master bed | 30" second bed • Small step (<2") at front door and into bathroom, no other steps in the unit. 24" wheelchair ramps can be included upon request if needed • Bathroom grab bars (ADA accessible height) in shower/toilet • Driveway with 12'L x 16'W space directly in front of the door to the unit Guest access You will have your own private entrance with keypad. The door opens out to the driveway. Other things to note • We have an ERV which constantly circulates air out from the bathroom and kitchen. The timer switch next to the bathroom sink boosts the system to normal exhaust fan levels. It's quiet but just know that it is working! Please use it when you take a shower. • We have a smaller friendly dog that likes to sit next to the front window facing the driveway.
