Welcome to Solrise Retreat! This garden-level apartment occupies the lower level of our split-level mountain home with its own private entrance. Features ten foot ceilings, two bedrooms with Queen beds, a handy kitchenette and dining area, a spacious bathroom with a shower/tub combo, Roku TV, and an outdoor Bistro table with a beautiful mountain view. It's the perfect home-base for adventure! We love hosting and strive to give every guest a restful space to unwind after a day of adventure! Designed for a peaceful and comfortable mountain escape, this private apartment is the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring Pikes Peak, Mueller State Park, or Woodland Park. * Solrise Retreat is the private garden level apartment of a split-level home. While you have your own completely separate space with a private entrance, you may occasionally hear normal sounds of daily life from upstairs. At 9100 feet you'll experience cool mountain evenings, fresh alpine air, and some of Colorado's most beautiful night skies. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire private lower-level apartment and private entrance. The upstairs is occupied by the hosts. There are no shared indoor spaces. We also have an outdoor Bistro table set up on the patio for guests to enjoy, plus a disc golf basket and a front yard with beautiful mountain views. Ample, driveway parking shared with the host; you will have a dedicated parking spot right next to your private path. With around 250 days of sunshine each year, it's the perfect place to relax or explore. We love living here and are excited to share it with you! *Please Note: Solrise Retreat is located at approximately 9100 feet of elevation. If you are traveling from lower elevations, staying hydrated, avoiding excessive alcohol on your first day, and taking it easy for the first 24 hours can help your body adjust. LOCAL FOOD + COFFEE: - Model Citizen: Enrique and Tabitha are very informative on all things coffee. - Cafe Leo: Be sure to try their in house pop tarts! - McGinty’s Wood Oven Pub: Their beef is supplied by the local PBJ Ranch. Our personal favorite is their wood fired Pizza! - Fiesta House and Sofia’s Antojitos are our favorites for Mexican food in Woodland Park.
