Come relax and unwind in this peaceful country log cabin, located on the edge of the beautiful Village of Sugarcreek. 2 unit Log Cabin in Amish Country. ( Side by side units similar to a duplex-each completely private) One spacious bedroom, large cozy bathroom and a custom kitchen stocked with all dishes, pots and pans, linens, soaps and many other amenities. The address is Dover Oh, but we're right on the edge of the Village of Sugarcreek line. Many things to do and see in our area year round! The space Relax at this 2 suite log cabin in the peaceful setting of Amish Country. the “The Cardinal's Roost” suite # 2 has a rustic theme. The suite is equipped with a Jacuzzi bathtub, queen sized bed, a flat screened ROKU TV, WiFi, Kitchen which includes refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker, outdoor charcoal grill and much more. Some snacks are provided along with Coffee and Tea. The suite has a private entrance, and back deck overlooking a woods. Smoke free, pet free environment. Just a half a mile from Broad Run Cheese house and the newly opened Han's Place Restaurant/Winery and the Breitenbach Winery across the street. We provide a pre packaged continental breakfast. Guest access This is a two unit cabin, like a duplex. This unit is on the Left hand side of the cabin and is 550 sq/ft. There are 3 steps: 2 steps to get onto the deck and another step to get into the cabin from the deck. Other things to note Remember since we do live in Amish Country you need to take some drives off the main road and get into the land and see the horses plowing the gardens and clothes hanging on clothes lines. It's not uncommon to see Amish kids playing volleyball, or baseball in the fields. It's also not uncommon to see Amish kids working in the fields on wagons helping their parents with the workload. You can purchase eggs and vegetables at roadside stands where you put your money into a bucket or make your own change from the bucket. EVERYONE waves, just wave back! Most Amish people do not like to have their pictures taken for religious reasons. If you do desire pictures, please take from a distance and respect their wishes. Most businesses are closed on Sundays to honor the Sabbath. There are a few open in our area that I have listed in another section. Also downtown Dover is only 8 miles to our East and all restaurants and stores are open there.
