Situated on a traditional working croft along the shores of Loch Beag in Struan, it provides breathtaking views and peaceful seclusion on the stunning Isle of Skye. Named in honour of its former owner—the youngest sea captain in the Merchant Navy—The Captain’s Place has been thoughtfully transformed into an elegant and authentic couple’s retreat. With design touches that pay homage to its nautical heritage, this peaceful haven offers tranquillity amidst the wild, rugged beauty that makes Skye so unforgettable. Guests can enjoy sweeping sea views, explore nearby landscapes, and even collect fresh eggs each morning from a small flock of friendly free-range hens just outside the door—a simple joy that makes each stay a little more special.
