Montezuma Heights Colibri cottage

Feel the breeze end enjoy the amazing view 300 ft. above the pacific ocean. At night you can see perfectly the stars. The cottage is made with antics what gives it his unique warm touch, no tree had to be cut to make it. The property was completely reforested in the last 30 years. The space The Colibri cottage was our second project and we thought about a tree-house like. The cabin has a little loft for a double bed and a balcony direct on the cliff surrounded by tree’s, making you feel like an eagle above the ocean. The loft is reachable by a ladder and you should be a bit agile. There is no obstacle in between you and the endless horizon. Further the ocean is only 600 feet (200m)away from you ,so you can sleep being lulled by the waves. Enjoy it ! *The materials used on the construction of all cottage are from native antique wood: floors, doors and windows that we have rescued over the years, in order to avoid cutting more trees and for recycling purposes. Some of those pieces are from 1920. Cheers ! *Please buy groceries before arrival Guest access Every cottage has his own private parking and access. Other things to note Please note: When using the pool, please do not use Sun cream and use the shower on the pool before. If not follow this instructions we do not guarantee a clear and clean pool. We do live close to nature. Please note: When leaving open food inside the building, Monkeys, Ants and other animals will see this as in invitation. If possible keep the food inside the fridge. Till now they have not find a way to open it. Take care. Rainy season: In parts of the rainy season bugs can arise. So please close open doors and windows when lights are turned on. Use the screen doors and windows and you will be fine. Mosquitos have not been a problem as much then in other parts of the country. Always remember you are in Costa Rica and in the wild. The bugs and animals have been there before us, respect them. We are about 10min. from town and the closest restaurant is Clandestine restaurant 6min. away.
