Located just outside downtown Orono, you can walk (>.5 mile) to local restaurants and breweries and drive (1.2 miles) to UMaine. Orono is centrally located between many destinations including: Bangor 10-15min Belfast & other coastal towns 1h+ Acadia National Park 1h20 Baxter State Park 1h30 The space This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment can host up to four people. Bedrooms: There are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other has a full sized bed. Kitchen/Dining Room: The kitchen includes all modern amenities and conveniences including a dishwasher, microwave, stovetop, oven, and fridge. Plenty of space to cook a homemade meal. Dining table seats five people. Living Room: Large couch, Smart TV (no cable), board games. Bathroom: Tub-Shower combo with handrails for safety, towels for four people included. Washer/Dryer: Available to use, located in the kitchen. Patio: In the summer months, the patio includes a table and chairs for four people. The patio is well-shaded. Enjoy the view all day long Guest access Property Access: Guests have a private entrance and access to the entire private apartment, including the patio, all located on the first floor of the house. Shelby & Nils (homeowners) occupy the second-floor apartment. Parking: Includes up to 3 off-street parking spots. If you require more than 3 parking spots, free street parking is available April-October. Check-in: Details sent upon booking. Self check-in after 3pm. Check-out: 11am Other things to note Heat & A/C: This unit has baseboard heat that is easily controlled by the guests through two thermostats. Though Maine is known for its cooler summers, sometimes it gets hot! We provide fans in the apartment. Space: The house includes two apartments, each with its own private entrances, amenities, parking spaces, and porches. The owners occupy the second-floor apartment. Accessibility: The entrance to the apartment has a short staircase, but the entire apartment is located on one floor.
