The space *** IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES! *** This cabin is located in a community of 45 mountain cabins with a shared hot tub located at the Solitude Lodge, a few minutes by foot, and shared by all guests of the neighborhood. It closes strictly at 9pm. Check in is 4pm and later, and check out is 10am and earlier, with early check in available for a small fee but cannot be reserved until 24h before arrival and only then if the cleaning schedule allows for it. Like nearly all homes in Estes, this cabin has no air conditioning. Portable fans are provided, and mountain breezes cool things down quickly each evening. No smoking inside or outside Road conditions can change quickly in winter. Located just steps from parking, this easily accessible cabin puts you minutes from both wilderness adventures and downtown conveniences. The Solitude Cabins community provides a quiet, safe environment while keeping you close to Rocky Mountain National Park's world-class hiking, wildlife viewing, and scenic drives. BEDROOMS Upstairs Bedroom: King bed with en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet, smart TV. Downstairs Bedroom: King bed with semi-private en-suite bathroom access, smart TV. Sleeping Area: Two queen sofa beds in the living room provide additional comfortable sleeping for families or groups BATHROOMS Upstairs Bathroom: Full en-suite with walk-in shower, toilet, and vanity area with mountain views Downstairs Bathroom: Luxurious bathroom featuring jetted tub, separate shower, double vanity area, and toilet - accessible from both the downstairs bedroom and hallway LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT The heart of the cabin features an open living area with vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace with stone surround, comfortable seating for the whole family, and large windows framing mountain views. Smart TV with streaming services, fast WiFi throughout, and mountain-themed decor create the perfect atmosphere for relaxation after your adventures. In-unit washer and dryer handle all your gear cleaning needs. KITCHEN & DINING Fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, full-size appliances, and everything needed for family meals: stove, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee makers (both drip and Keurig), blender, wine glasses, cookware, and dining for six at the rustic wood table. The kitchen opens to the living area, keeping the family connected during meal prep. This is now a strict no-smoking property. No smoking inside, outside, and no outdoor fire pits (now illegal in Estes Park's vacation homes). Charcoal BBQs are banned. Gas is OK. ROAD CONDITIONS Estes has a great plow team and our parking area will also be plowed during storms, but if there's a huge blizzard, they may not be plowed exactly when you need them to be. We cannot assist if you get stuck and we always recommend that people rent AWD or 4WD when visiting us from October to May. We are at 8,000 feet and this can be a snowy area! GUEST COUNT 6 people max. BEARS Do NOT leave food in your car! Bears frequent this area often and can break in! A/C Like nearly all homes in Estes Park, there is no air conditioning. Evening breezes coming off the mountains cool the home quickly.
