Guest access The cafeteria area offers covered outdoor seating for breakfast. Food served with Galapaganian touch. The hotel grounds include a covered outdoor seating area and two pools with side patios. The pools provide a cool oasis. Taxi: $1 US is the value of a taxi within Puerto Ayora. All taxis in Galapagos are white pick- up trucks. Tell the driver: “ Hotel La Perla de Galapagos (Entre Bodega Blanca y Libreria Angermeyer).” ***Recommend to print out directions to show driver. Extra Travel Information: Upon arrival to Seymour Airport on Baltra Island, take the bus for 15 minutes to Canal Itabaca. Once there take the ferry to the other side of the canal. This takes 10 minutes. You will now be on Santa Cruz Island. There you will take another bus for 45 minutes to Puerto Ayora. At the final stop in Puerto Ayora, take a taxi to the hotel.
