Cozy, 350 Sq foot attractive studio. Yogurt, fruit, pastry and hot beverage plus more for morning breakfast. No smoking on entire property. Perfect for travelling between Washington, Oregon and all parts of California just 6 miles off of I-5 freeway east of Yreka. Pets welcome upon approval. An extra 5 dollar fee for a pet. Shared Full Bath in house. No cleaning fee. A window AC unit that is adjusted by guests to their desired temperature. It is removed during cooler weather. Electric heaters The studio guest house space was a surveyors office before I purchased the house. After a year of living here I started to transform the office to an art studio to teach young people art. From that plan I chose to make it a guest house, doing most of the work myself, to create a cozy quiet place to retreat and relax. The guests will have access to park in the carport which will easily lead them to the guest house/studio 30 feet away from the house. The full bathroom is in the house to be shared with the owner and available all hours....if the the night time journey to the bathroom for toilet use is too far, a composting toilet is available for night time use (the kind that is used in a houseboat and is sanitary). I am more than happy to share my knowledge of the the beautiful northern California/Southern Oregon area eateries, events, and back roads....I also provide muffins, fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, juice, coffee, tea, milk, cream, for breakfast, and a variety of snacks due to no restaurants or grocery stores here in this tiny town It is a very quiet neighborhood surrounded by retired people and a block of dirt road on the edge of a small ranching community. I am on a dead end street so there is little to no traffic most times of the day. Given that I am on the southern edge of town it is easy to find off of Highway 3 which is accessed by taking the northern most Yreka exit off of I-5 freeway. Six miles east of Yreka and 1 mile from Montague Municipal airport which services small aircraft glider and balloon launches. There is a complete Coffee bar/tea area with electric kettle and Keurig coffee maker as well as filtered water, microwave and a refrigerator. Cooking is not allowed but reheating is greatThere is as shown from the photos two sitting areas to view the flowers and experience the quiet mornings and evening.
